The Proof of Concept

What it costs, what it includes, and what it asks of you.

What does the Proof of Concept cost?

5 000€ excluding VAT. Charged once, with no per-seat, per-report or per-player charges on top and no separate setup fee.

The figure is published deliberately. A Proof of Concept should be a straightforward decision rather than a procurement exercise, and you should be able to see what the system says about your own squad before any larger commitment is discussed.

What is included?

An initial workshop, platform configuration, and one nominated squad monitored throughout. You receive daily injury-risk intelligence, a weekly review session with us, and a final assessment with recommendations.

The objective is to demonstrate what Be-Healthy can tell you about a squad you know well, so that the findings can be judged against your own knowledge of it.

What do you need from us?

Very little. Choose the squad you want us to monitor, nominate a point of contact and join a short weekly review.

We ask your team to assess whether the signals add useful information to your existing view of the squad. No integration is required for the standard Proof of Concept.

Do we have to share any player data?

No. The standard Proof of Concept runs entirely on publicly available data, so you do not need to transfer any player data to us and there is no integration work to schedule before it starts.

If you choose to supply club data once we are working together, the product accepts it and the injury-risk signal becomes more precise.

How quickly can we start, and how long does it run?

It begins within two weeks of acceptance and runs for approximately eight to twelve weeks, long enough to observe how a squad’s risk profile develops across a run of fixtures rather than a single snapshot.

Does the Proof of Concept commit us to anything?

No. It creates no obligation to enter into an Annual Partnership.

How Be-Healthy Works

What the model reads, and what it adds to what your staff already know.

How does Be-Healthy identify players who may need attention?

Be-Healthy analyses every day how a player’s injury-risk profile changes over time, considering factors such as match exposure, recovery time, fixture congestion, previous injuries and upcoming fixtures.

It compares those patterns with data from thousands of players across multiple seasons to produce a risk signal updated daily, so a club can see which players may need closer attention.

How can you identify injury risk without training-load data?

Many non-contact injuries develop over time rather than appearing without warning. Changes in match exposure, recovery time, fixture congestion, previous injuries and other factors give useful signals before an injury occurs.

Be-Healthy uses that consistently available information to identify changes in injury risk without needing access to a club’s own training-load systems. Club data makes the signal more precise where a club supplies it, but it is not required to get started.

If you only use public data, what can Be-Healthy know that our medical team doesn't?

Your medical team knows your players in far greater depth than we do. Be-Healthy sees something different: patterns across thousands of players, through multiple seasons and in different football environments.

We also look at a player’s whole career, whereas a club’s internal training data naturally begins when that player arrives at its own facilities.

The value is not that Be-Healthy knows more than your medical team. It is that we add a broader, independent view of injury risk that helps highlight the patterns worth their attention.

What actually changes from one day to the next?

A player’s risk is not a fixed score.

As matches are played and fixtures approach, playing time, accumulated exposure, recovery time, fixture congestion, injury history and expected workload all change.

Be-Healthy reassesses the player as that context changes. A player can therefore move from Low to Medium-High risk even though there has been no injury or obvious change in his status.

How do you keep improving the injury-risk signals?

We continuously compare our injury-risk signals with what actually happened to players.

As new, revised or additional data becomes available, we test whether it improves the signals, reveals new patterns or strengthens existing ones. A change is adopted only when the evidence shows it improves performance.

Understanding the Risk Signal

What a risk band means, what it does not mean, and why it moves.

Does a High-risk player mean he will get injured?

No.

High risk means the player’s current profile is associated with a greater likelihood of injury. It does not mean an injury is certain.

A High-risk player may remain healthy, just as a Low-risk player can still get injured.

Be-Healthy is about identifying changing risk, not predicting the future with certainty.

How much more often do top-band players actually get injured?

Several times more often. In our 2025/26 monitoring, players in the Critical band recorded 5.6× the league-average injury frequency in our Premier League sample, and the average in Ligue 1 in the days immediately following assessment.

Both results were measured on seasons that were not used to train the model.

The two figures are not directly comparable, and the main reason is that they were produced by different generations of our models. The Premier League figure comes from the models running during that season’s monitoring; those have since been replaced, and the current generation reports higher multiples for the same kind of exposure. The studies also use different measurement windows.

How early can Be-Healthy identify increased risk?

There is no single answer, because injuries do not all develop in the same way.

Some warning signals build gradually over time. Others only become visible much closer to an injury.

We look for meaningful changes across different time periods rather than assuming every injury has the same warning window.

Why can a player's risk increase quickly?

Because several things can change at once.

A player might accumulate more minutes, have less recovery between matches, enter a congested fixture period, or face greater expected exposure in the days ahead.

When several risk factors move together, the overall signal can change significantly.

Isn't football injury risk basically random?

No, although it is always uncertain.

Some injuries, particularly those caused by sudden collisions or other external events, are extremely difficult to anticipate. Others are associated with changes and patterns that develop over time.

Be-Healthy focuses on finding those useful signals rather than pretending every injury can be predicted.

How We Build and Test the Models

How the signal is validated, and what happens when it is wrong.

Isn't the model simply learning that injured players have played fewer minutes?

No. That would tell us very little about future injury risk.

We specifically test whether the model is identifying patterns that appear before an injury, rather than information that only becomes obvious once a player is already injured.

That distinction is fundamental to whether the signal is actually useful.

Does Be-Healthy use one model for every type of injury?

No. Different injuries can have different causes and warning patterns, so a single approach would not work equally well for everything.

Be-Healthy uses different models and data combinations depending on factors such as the type of injury, the player’s profile and career history, and the football environment. That lets us use whichever approach gives the most useful injury-risk signal for each situation.

What happens when the model is wrong?

It will sometimes be wrong. No injury-risk system can identify every future injury or avoid every false warning.

We track both missed injuries and false warnings, and use those outcomes to evaluate and improve the models. That is how we find new patterns and sharpen existing signals.

The important question is not whether every injury is predicted, but whether the signals consistently help clubs see where attention may be needed.

How Clubs Use Be-Healthy

Where the model stops and your medical and performance staff decide.

Does Be-Healthy replace the medical or performance team?

No. Be-Healthy is there to support them.

Your medical and performance teams have information and judgement that a model cannot replace. Be-Healthy gives them an additional view of injury risk and helps identify where attention may be needed.

The final decision always remains with the club.

Can we see how planned player usage could affect injury risk?

Yes. Be-Healthy can run what-if scenarios using upcoming fixtures and different levels of expected player usage.

That lets a club see how a player’s injury-risk signal would change under different choices, such as starting, rotating or resting him across the matches ahead.

Can Be-Healthy tell us exactly how many minutes a player should play?

Not as a medical prescription. Be-Healthy can show how different levels of expected usage affect the player’s injury-risk signal, but the decision about how much a player should play remains with the club’s medical and performance teams.

Can we compare our squad's injury risk with other clubs?

Yes. Be-Healthy can benchmark your squad’s injury-risk profile against other clubs competing in the same league or tournament.

That gives useful context for where risk is concentrated in your squad, and how your overall position compares with the teams you are competing against.

Data Protection

Where data sits, what we keep, and what never leaves your systems.

Where is our data stored and processed?

In the European Union. Everything you send us, and all the analysis we run during a Proof of Concept, is stored in Amazon Web Services’ Frankfurt region, and an enquiry from this site goes directly to that region rather than through anything in between.

We also notify the team by email so that someone can reply, and we use providers for business email, analytics and website infrastructure. The privacy notice sets out how those are handled, including the lawful basis where a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area.

These public pages are a separate matter: like most websites they are distributed through a content delivery network, which holds copies in Europe and North America so that pages load quickly. Those copies are the marketing pages themselves. They carry no enquiry submissions and no private product data.

Do you track visitors to this website?

Not in the sense that usually means. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it loads nothing from a third-party server: no tag managers, no advertising pixels, no embedded fonts or scripts reporting your visit elsewhere.

We do count things. When someone opens a solution page or starts the contact form, we record that it happened, so we can tell which pages are useful. Those counts are sent to our own domain rather than to an analytics company’s.

To count people rather than page loads, our analytics provider works out a temporary identifier from your network address and browser using a key it throws away at the end of each day. Nothing is stored on your device, the identifier cannot be traced back to you, and because the website’s own address forms part of it, it cannot be matched to you on any other site. It stops working the next day.

That is why you are not asked to accept anything: for the technologies currently in use there is nothing to consent to. If we introduce something that does require consent, we will ask for it before it is used.

What happens to the information we send through the contact form?

It is used to respond to you and to understand which parts of the site prompt enquiries. It is not sold, and it is not shared for anyone else’s marketing.

It is deleted after 24 months. That is enforced by the database expiring each record on a stored date rather than by anyone remembering to run a clear-out, so the retention period holds whether or not we are paying attention to it.

The privacy notice sets out the detail, including how to ask for a copy of what we hold or have it deleted sooner.

What personal data does the Proof of Concept involve?

In the standard Proof of Concept, publicly available football information about professional players: appearances, minutes, transfers, and injuries as publicly reported. Nothing in it comes from your systems: no medical records, no wellness or screening data, no training-ground monitoring, and no access to your databases.

That is how the Proof of Concept is designed rather than a limit on the product. Where a club chooses to supply its own data once we are working together, the product accepts it.

We share the findings with you in a written report. We do not publish player-level results from a club engagement, and anything we do publish is anonymised, with no name, and no combination of club, position and date that would identify an individual.

The terms covering our own handling of that data form part of the Proof of Concept agreement rather than being left to a page like this one.

Will our squad's data be used to train models for other clubs?

No. Where a club supplies its own data, that data is used to sharpen the signal for that club and for nothing else. It does not enter the training set behind any other club’s models.

What the models read is publicly available information about professional players, collected from the point a player reaches senior football. That information exists independently of where the player is contracted. It was there before they joined you and remains after they leave, so it is not really your squad’s data in the sense the question implies, even while they are in your squad.

Anything you tell us during a Proof of Concept is feedback on our product, not training data. That includes how you judged the output, what was useful, and what was not.
